About
This blog exhibits rough contemplations throughout my PhD studies at the University of Victoria with Bertrand Russell’s maxim in mind: “I do not pretend to start with precise questions. I do not think you can start with anything precise. You have to achieve such precision as you can, as you go along.”
Ironically, I got my Master of Science idea (about image compression) while observing a mosaic at some random gallery in some oblivious Canadian city. Similarly, I suspect I shall be having an epiphany per these musings here that shall bring about some unconventional idea for my doctoral adventure; my adventure here, by the way, under the supervision of Daniela Damian.
I also maintain(ed) The Rationale, a blog mainly dedicated to (pushing the envelope for) my struggle against irrational thought, false beliefs (such as those in pink unicorns), and logical fallacies we commit in almost every writing or conversation.
